What we do

We teach physics to students studying  NCEA and  Scholarship.

Understanding physics requires more than the ability to manipulate a formula. Our students learn how to make clear explanations of physics concepts and apply physics principles in calculation type questions. Students in our course learn clear physics explanations require the  identification of  relevant  principles linked into a logical and causal argument. They develop an intuitive feel for the equations and principles of physics and we ensure that their intuitive understanding  is calibrated to match reality. By exam time our students can efficiently name and apply the relevant physics principles.

We accept enrolments from students, who are working at any level of achievement, provided they are prepared to continually improve. No prior experience in physics is necessary but we will assess algebraic and numerical skills to see if any remedial work is needed.
